WELCOME TO THE APPAPA WEBSITE
Mabuhay! Welcome to the Association of Philippine Physicians and Allied Professionals of Arizona (APPAPA) website. APPAPA was established in 1975 and was a preeminent Filipino physician and allied health organization of Arizona. The website served to:
1. Promote APPAPA mission, vision, and goals.
2. Recruit new members. APPAPA members include both physicians and allied health professionals. Families with children are more than welcome to join.
3. Promote and advertise APPAPA activities.
4. Promote networking with other Filipino societies in Arizona and the Philippines.
5. Celebrate APPAPA accomplishments and activities by publishing activity photos.
Like many Filipino-American medical associations, APPAPA's membership faded as the generation of Filipino doctors who were allowed to immigrate to the U.S. so freely in the 1960's and 1970's began to retire, or were called to rest by our Lord. This site is a tribute to that generation of physicians, which included my father, Ernesto Y. Lee, M.D. from the University of the Philippines. May God bless all of them. They were the instruments of God's hands.
